“Warn and wake up Your people, God, for what is coming – Your judgments and evil rising. Don’t they know? Can’t they see the gallows of death coming? As in the day of Esther, so it is now. They plot and scheme our demise and our death. Oh, stop them, Lord! Stop them in their tracks – whatever it takes! Your Will be done, Oh Lord!
Your plans and purposes are divine and defined in Your scrolls of old. Pour out Your Spirit, Lord, on a dying generation of blinded souls leading souls to the pit. Stop their plans, right now, Mighty God; and, remove their administrators – returning to them what they are doing to Your people, oh God!
Do You see it? Do You feel it? The blind can’t see! The senseless remain ignorant! Right now, move Mighty God – our hearts turned and prostrate to You, broken and amiss without You.
Save Your people. Be kind to them. We are Your sheep. Some are chewing dry blades in the rocks; some are sinking in quicksand; some have fallen into deep crevasses; some have been devoured by predators; some have been stolen for their precious wool; and some have become rabid. Bring us back to fresh waters. Bring us back to green pastures. Bring us to You, Shepherd – God. Don’t leave us. Don’t forget us. Hear our prayers, dear Lord.
You know us. Your Word will seek us. You will not forsake Your chosen. Seal us. Put Your Name on our hearts, and shepherd us again – heart, mind, body and soul in Jesus Christ’s Name. Keep us contrite. Keep us in Your sight. Send Your angels. Never let us go! Teach us. Train us where to go! I surrender heart and soul.
Your child of the Most High God”
Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help. (Hebrews 4:16, NET Bible)
Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? (Jeremiah 7:17, NKJV)
Protect me from the trap they have set for me, and from the snares of evildoers. (Psalm 141:9, HCSB)
He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. (Revelation 19:13, NIV)
The Lord, the Shepherd of His People
A Psalm of David.
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever. (Psalm 23, NKJV)
The Lord’s Prayer
In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13, NKJV)
